This competition, that was born in London in 2010, is considered the most authoritative in the digital sector in Europe. Companies such as Adidas, Nike, Cnn, The Guardian, Vice, Al Jazeera, Vogue Spain have won the statuette in past editions.

The visititaly.eu portal was elected "best site in Europe" at the Eu Web Awards 2020 in Brussels: the most important competition created to reward the best European web portals. Each year, only fifteen make it to the final among 1,000 competitors. The award was presented in Eurovision by BBC journalist Sally Bundock, with the special appearance of Sting.
